“Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe.”
– Anatole France –

As I’ve mentioned before…sometimes ya’ just don’t have a lotta time to take pics. Work, life, family & all that other stuff frequently take precedence. Often I find myself trying to exercise photographic skills by fitting it in when the opportunity presents itself. Kinda’ justifies my tenet to always carry a camera…right?

So, during last weeks caffeine fueled trip around Europe, I found myself with 30 minutes free early one morning. “Free”, because I opted for the photo stroll rather than the espresso & apple strudel that were calling my name.

Even though the morning was a bit overcast & I had no photographically relevant knowledge of the area, I was hoping to find an interesting shot or two. Given the early hour, I thought to focus more on the architecture & details rather than people shots. Yeah… I know street photography is random, so I’ll basically shoot whatever thing, person, or situation that catches my eye. Yeah, like I said…RANDOM.

So, off I went on walkabout – undoubtedly looking like the Not-From-This-Place guy with a camera. 30 minutes & a few images later, I was back at the hotel & really craving that espresso & apple strudel. They were still sweetly whispering my name.

So, check out the images and let me know what you think in the comments. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
